Of flared footed form, the edges of the foot and cover notched at the corners, applied boar’s head handles and inverted lingzhi mushroom finial in rust red, decorated for the English market in famille rose enamels, the sides having stylized flowers in colors in a garden landscape, the cover embellished with scattered flowers, trimmed with a scrolling meander border in rust red around the perimeter of the cover and the side of the foot, all decoration painted over a celadon-like bluish ground. Repairs to Lid.
