A large Chinese export porcelain centerpiece bowl, 2nd quarter 1700s, Yongzheng/early Qianlong period, decorated in famille rose enamels, a floral composition consisting mainly of tree peonies (mudan), the interior rim painted with a frieze of lattice diaper and reserves each containing foliate forms and a single half blossom, centering a two-flower vignette at the base of the interior.
